Dr. Alan Mendoza is the Executive Director and a founder of the Henry Jackson Society, based in London, United Kingdom. He is also the Convener of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Transatlantic & International Security and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Homeland Security, which meet regularly in Parliament.
Dr. Mendoza is a frequent speaker on a variety of foreign policy topics. His particular research interests include the transatlantic relationship, the Middle East, the Balkans, and the future of NATO. He represents the Henry Jackson Society on various topics in the media and has appeared on the BBC, ITN, Sky, CNBC, Bloomberg and al-Jazeera networks. He also hosted the successful Worldview international relations TV show during its run on the 18 Doughty Street network.
Having obtained a Ph.D. in History from Cambridge University with a thesis on 'British Relations with the USA during the Bosnian War, 1992-95', prior to his current appointment, he ran a contract publishing company for ten years which specialized in producing publications for international organizations.
